ICM-II: ABDOMEN, more cases |

TYPE-abdominal radiograph, likely supine (standard view, also labeled 'SUPINE' near bottom right of image)
TERMINOLOGY-area of rim-like density in right upper quadrant-this could represent either calcification of the gallbladder wall, or peripheral calcification of a large gallstone.
TECHNICAL-lateral soft tissues are not included on the image, suggesting obesity, but it is impossible to be sure how much soft tissue is actually present on this image. There is no air fluid level in the regioon of the stomach, but this does not determine whether the patient is upright or supine. In fact, the blue area is likely air in the stomach, probably in the body of the stomach, which is where air would collect in the supine position, since it is the most anterior part of the stomach. The red circles are likely showing normal gas in small bowel loops. The green outline has the appearance of colon, with a scalloped margin.
