ICM-II: ABDOMEN, case 3 |
||
SUMMARY To summarize, we reviewed the appearance of organomegaly on KUB, and correlated this finding with the appearance on CT. We reviewed how to determine overall body habitus on CT by looking for fat and muscle mass. We mentioned other imaging modalities that can be used to assess the liver and spleen such as MRI, ultrasound or nuclear medicine, and looked at a few examples of PET scan images showing liver and spleen. |
