PATIENT-This image is cropped so that not much of the tissue of the body wall is visible. Along the right side, there is not a lot of soft tissue, so the patient is probably not obese. The thoracic and lumbar vertebrae are not completely smooth, but have small projections off their sides suggesting degenerative change, so the patient may be older. There is an unusual speckled pattern to the gas in many of the bowel loops. A relatively normal loop of colon is outlined in green.
