ICM-II: ABDOMEN, case 1

TYPE-there is no air fluid level in the stomach so we don't know if the patient was upright or not, but given how sick they look, they might be supine, and the image is not labeled but is most likely a portable study because of the poor quality.

TECHNICAL-axial rotation because the spinous processes are not centered between the clavicular heads; lordotic position because there is no lung visible above the top of the clavicles.

PATIENT-the large amount of soft tissue is evident along the left chest wall, and the positioning issues and support lines suggest that the patient is very ill.

The blue line is an NG tube, but we cannot evaluate its position completely since the distal part is not well seen (dotted line and ??). The purple line is an IJ central line and its tip is also not very well seen (??)
