These are special mammographic views done on implants called 'implant displaced' views. The technologist pushes the implant out of the way to get a better look at the tissue in front of it. No difference could be seen between the two implants on mammography to explain the patient's complaint. What other type of imaging might be helpful?

These are silicone implants (you cannot see through them), and they are retropectoral (you can see the pectoralis major muscle draped over them (red).
