Once you have located the symptom your patient has, and have clicked on the document you want, you will see the page shown on the right, which can be downloaded as a PDF for future reference. The date of the most recent update of the document is at the top right hand corner.

The overall clinical finding or condition is at the top (red arrow), and if there are several different settings that could affect what is most appropriate to order, each variant (blue arrow) will be described in detail so you can decide which fits your patient best.

The information for each scenario is arranged in a table, with a listing of potential imaging procedures, and an appropriateness rating for each (purple arrows), from 1 to 9. The higher the rating, the more appropriate the imaging. The imaging studies are listed in order, with the most appropriate at the top. Comments are included to further refine the recommendation, and a relative radiation dose is given in the last column (heading is 'RRL' for relative radiation level).
