This breast ultrasound shows a smoothly rounded anechoic (totally black) lesion with increased echogenicity on the far side (called increased through-transmission, indicative of presence of fluid). These findings are consistent with a breast cyst, a benign finding. No further imaging or workup is needed and this should not be aspirated unless it is very painful, in which case aspiration could be performed for symptomatic relief.

The label indicates 12:00 position. We use the clock face to describe location of breast lesions, with the nipple in the center. So 12:00 would be in the middle of the upper breast. The label also says '3 FN', which means 3 cm from the nipple.
