BONES are dark, particularly around the edges, and are hard to pick out from other tissues so this is a MR, in the axial plane. Note that fat is white, which is NEVER the case with CT.

BONES are white, particularly around the edges so this is a CT. Muscle and fat look similar in color, lungs look very dark. This is a BONE window, in the coronal plane, showing a lot of internal detail in every bone.
