Set 1: interstitial vs alveolar

45 year old male diagnosed with a new large myocardial infarction

This pattern is hard to classify because it is very faint, but it appears more fluffy and patchy than linear, so it is an example of an alveolar process, looking like clouds.  In this case, it was due to fat emboli from the marrow of the tibia, where the patient had a fracture.
