64 year old man with long history of left shoulder pain.

The needle is outlined in green, and the rotator cuff tendons in aqua. The calcifications, mostly within the supraspinatus tendon, are shown in yellow. The front surface of the humeral head is shown in lavender. Bone blocks most sound waves, so there is only dark seen beyond the humeral head, an acoustic shadow.
