This opacity is in the upper and more anterior part of the chest, in the region of the left upper lobe. It does not extend all the way down to the heart, so it does not involve the lingula. |

The opacity is ill-defined on the frontal view, but has a smooth posterior border on the lateral view, where it abuts the left major fissure (red). |
