One popular way is the ABCDE method

A = airway, B=bones, C=cardiomediastinum, D=diaphragms, E=everything else (including lungs)

Advantages--short, easy to remember, catchy

Disadvantages--sequence is not necessarily logical, leaves a few things out (but no short simple method is perfect)
