Image A is a PA projection because the beam has gone through the body from Posterior to Anterior. You cannot tell if it is AP or PA by looking at the image, but we usually do PA projections for the chest. Image B is a lateral view of the chest in the same patient. This 55 year old man has pain in his right shoulderblade inferiorly with a palpable lump that is slightly tender. See if you can find what is causing his symptoms on these images. |
