CASE 4
This patient has an internal hernia, a rare type of hernia where small bowel loops (colored in red on Image sequence A and on Images B and C) either enter the lesser sac through the foramen of Winslow (epiploic foramen) or through a tear in the lesser omentum. There should NOT be bowel loops between the stomach and the pancreas! Check the labels to identify vital structures on Images B and C.
