This is a CT scan of our patient. You can tell right away that this is a slice, and looks quite different from an x-ray. To identify a CT, look at bones. They should be white around the edges. Try to identify the scapula on each side. When looking at sectional images like this, it is often good to compare one side to the other to look for differences. For many parts of the body (like the shoulder), we are symmetric on both sides.
