This patient has vegetations on the tricuspid valve, which may be a consequence of intravascular infections which can settle on the valve and grow. You can see the abnormal structures flopping around as the tricuspid valve moves through the cardiac cycle. On the still image on the right, the vegetations are show in red, the right ventricle (which is enlarged) is shown in blue, the right atrium in green, the left ventricle in pink, the mitral valve in orange and the left atrium in yellow. This patient may ultimately require a tricuspid valve replacement.
