ICM-II: CHEST, more cases |
||
TYPE-chest radiograph, likely PA (rotated scapulae, air fluid level in stomach) TERMINOLOGY-many very high density objects scattered all over the image
TECHNICAL-not rotated, reasonable inspiration
The dense objects are so white, particularly given their very small size, that they must be made of metal. You cannot tell from the frontal view exactly where they are (front, back, inside or outside the patient). How does the lateral view help?
There is also an abnormal curve to the upper trachea, as if it is being pushed to the patient's left, commonly seen in enlargement of the thyroid gland. It is normal for the lower trachea to be pushed to the right by the structure outlined in red-what is that structure?
