ICM-II: CHEST, case 4 |
||
SUMMARY To summarize, we reviewed how to recognize low level of inspiration on a chest radiograph, and how to tell a CT from an MR image, as well as how to identify T1 vs T2-weighted images. We also reviewed terminology for referring to nuclear medicine images (high or low 'uptake', 'hot' or 'cold' areas). We also reviewed how nuclear medicine images are obtained, using an external detector, as well as some idea of the range of types of nuclear medicine imaging that is possible, from bone scans to PET/CT scans. |
