TYPE-This is a frontal image, with scapulae rotated out of the way, so probably not portable. TERMINOLOGY-There is very vague abnormal opacity in the right side of the chest. TECHNICAL-The lung volumes are low, and the right hemidiaphram in particular is very high. This may relate to the history of pleuritic chest pain, since patients who have this symptom often do not take in a very deep breath because it hurts. |
