ICM-II: CHEST, case 3 |
||
There is a thin line running almost vertically from the neck down toward the mediastinum. This is a central line (central venous line, or CVL for short) that was inserted into the internal jugular vein. Decide if the course seems normal to you. There are also some curved metal wires near the bottom of the image on the patient's left side. What do you think these might be? What do you think of this patient's body habitus? |
