Many different imaging modalities can be used to examine the brachial plexus and surrounding structures. Normal examples of each type of study can be accessed using the buttons below. In general, MR is the most revealing in terms of direct visualization of the plexus and its nerves, but each type of study can show slightly different information, and each has inherent advantages and disadvantages in terms of cost, radiation risk and availability.
